FAIRBORN, Ohio---Senior Neil Lykins carded rounds of 74 and 72 to move into a tie for fifth in the final standings at the Bullock Collegiate Classic, hosted by Wright State.
Lykins, who entered the day tied for 13th, finished with a three-round total of 221, finishing just nine strokes out of first. Freshman Justin Wilson also earned a top-20 finish, after three rounds of 75 tied him for 16th at 225.
Cincinnati finished fifth in the team standings, but trailed only a third place tie between Butler and American with a 36 hole total of 902. Ball State ran away with the team title, scoring an 872, thanks in large part to having both of the top two individuals in the tournament.
The Bearcats conclude regular season play on Wednesday taking part in the Northern Kentucky Invitational at Boone Links Golf Course in Florence.
