TAMPA, Fla.---Junior Chris Larbes (West Chester, Ohio/Moeller) is the highest placing Bearcat after two days of competition at the 2003 Conference USA Golf Tournament, held at the Lake Jovita Golf Course.
Larbes carded a round two 72 and has a total of 146 after 36 holes. Senior Neil Lykins (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller) is second for the men?s team, tied for 32nd, after shooting a 77 on Tuesday to finish 36 holes at 149.
On the women?s side, sophomore Allison Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) is in 25th place after firing a 79 on Tuesday to finish the first two rounds at 160.
In the team standings, the men?s team is 13th in the 14-team field, trailing Saint Louis by five strokes, after the Bearcats totaled a 309 in round two to finish at 608. Cincinnati?s women?s team is in ninth with a 675.
Play wraps up at the tournament on Wednesday, beginning at 7:45 a.m.
