NOTRE DAME, Ind.---Junior Alysa Few shot rounds of 80 and 81 to lead the University of Cincinnati women?s golf team on day one of the Notre Dame Invitational.
Few (London, Ontario/East Tennessee State) is tied for 26th in the tournament field, sharing the spot with six other golfers. The Bearcats are in 13th place in the team standings, after rounds of 345 and 337. At 680, UC is just two strokes behind Arkansas State. Northern Iowa leads the team standings at 623.
After Few, defending tournament champion Allison Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) is the next ranked Bearcat, tied for 52nd overall after identical rounds of 84.
The tournament concludes with the final 18 holes, beginning at 8 a.m. on Sunday from Warren Golf Course.
