NOTRE DAME, Ind.---Led by a 32nd place finish by junior Alysa Few, the University of Cincinnati women?s golf team carded a 12th place effort in the team standings at the Notre Dame Invitational, concluded Sunday at Warren Golf Course.
The Bearcats finished the 54-hole tournament tied with Rutgers after shooting a final round 352, their highest of the event, to finish at 1,034. Few (London, Ontario/East Tennessee State) finished with a final round 85 to conclude the tournament with a score of 246. Trailing Few was classmate Allison Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) who fired three rounds of 84 to end tied for 50th at 252.
The UC golfers now have a long break until its next tournament, returning to competition Oct. 27-28 at the Precept Intecollegiate in Clarksville, Tenn.
