CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Richard Hall, who rushed for 161 yards and scored two touchdowns in Cincinnati's 42-37 loss to Miami, has been named Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week.

Hall sparked the Bearcats' second-quarter comeback with an eight-yard touchdown run and a five-yard TD catch from Gino Guidugli. The junior, who earned Ohio Division II Player of the Year honors as a senior at Wyoming High, keyed a fourth-quarter scoring drive with a 50-yard run.

Hall's 161 yards, on 25 carries, was the most rushing yardage by a Bearcat since Robert Cooper gained 204 vs. Memphis in the final game of the 1999 season. He was also UC's leading receiver in the game with six catches for 61 yards.

Robert McCune, who had 17 tackles in Louisville's 21-12 win over Temple, earned C-USA Defensive Player of the Week honors and Nick Browne, who kicked a pair of field goals in TCU's win over Arizona, was the Specialist of the Week.

It is the second straight week that a Bearcat has earned conference honors. Trent Cole was the C-USA Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in last week's win over Temple.
