CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.---Junior Alysa Few fired a final round 75 to earn her first top-five finish as a Bearcat during final round play at the Precept Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
Few (London, Ontario/East Tennessee State) finished fifth in the tournament field, helping the Bearcat women to a tie for seventh in the team standings. Classmate Allison Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) also earned a Top-20 finish, ending the 36-hole event in 18th after a final round 85.
The UC men?s team also wrapped up play at the tournament, finishing ninth in the team standings. Senior Chris Larbes (West Chester, Ohio/Moeller) shot a final round 76 on Tuesday to finish tied for 19th. Freshman Joe Young (Geneva, Ill./Geneva) shot a day two 82 to end the tournament tied for 39th.
The women?s team has one tournament remaining on its fall docket, participating in the Edwin Watts Intercollegiate on Nov. 3-4. The men?s team is now idle until the spring season gets underway.
