CINCINNATI, OH -- Cincinnati?s junior midfielder Josh Gardner has been selected to the collegesoccernews.com National Team of the Week. Gardner has also been named Conference USA?s Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Gardner (Houston, Texas/Mayde Creek) turned in a dynamic performance last week, scoring two goals and adding an assist in Sunday?s 5-1 win over conference foe Charlotte. He also scored a goal off a free kick from 18 yards out in UC?s 2-0 shutout over Memphis on Wednesday.

Leading the Bearcats in goals and assists, recording five of each, Gardner has started every game this season. He is tied for first in the conference for game winning goals with three, and is second in points, points per game and assists.

DePaul's Luke Rojo was chosen as the other C-USA Co-Offensive Player of the Week . Rojo led the Blue Demons to consecutive 1-0 home wins assisting on the game-winning goal against Northern Illinois, and posting a game-winner of his own against conference foe Louisville. Rojo leads DePaul with 10 points (4 goals, 2 assists) this season. DePaul's goalkeeper, Jeff Klitzke, garnered the defensive award for two consecutive home shutouts.
