CINCINNATI, Ohio - Two University of Cincinnati men's soccer players earned Conference USA Player of the Week honors on Monday. Sam Miller earned co-offensive player of the week while John Adams was named the defensive player of the week.

Miller's (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) first collegiate goal was the lone score in Cincinnati's 1-0 victory over Marquette to clinch a share of the Conference USA regular-season title for the Bearcats. His score came in the 48th minute when Miller knocked in the game winner off of a rebound of Tim Brown's free kick. A true freshman, Miller has started 11 out of 18 contests this season. He shares the player of the week honors with Saint Louis' Will John. John scored twice last week, including the game-winning goal in the Billikens' 3-1 victory over No. 20 UAB.

Adams (Wadsworth, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) made four saves to help seal a 1-0 UC win at Marquette and claim a share of the Conference USA regular-season championship, the first in Bearcat annals. Posting two shut-outs in last week's play, he leads C-USA with a 0.76 goals against average, the lowest by any goalkeeper in Cincinnati history.
