HATTIESBURG, Miss.---Allison Couch fired a final round score of 80 to lead the University of Cincinnati women?s golf team as they wrapped up play at the Lady Eagle Invitational, hosted by Southern Miss on Tuesday.
Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) slipped to 21st in the final rundown with a score of 237 after ending day one tied for 19th. Junior Alysa Few (London, Ontario/Oakridge Secondary) was the second highest finishing Bearcat, ending tied for 66th after a final round 92.
In the team standings, the Bearcats finished 15th after carding a total of 340 in the final 18 holes. UC finished the tournament just one stroke behind 14th place Lipscomb.
The Bearcats will next be in action when they join the UC?s men?s team in vying for the Krump Kup, hosted by Northern Kentucky University. The combined score event will take place at Boone Links Golf Course in Florence on Thursday (April 8).
