KALAMAZOO, Mich.---Junior Allison Couch is leading the Bronco Invitational after the first 18 holes of play completed on Sunday.
Couch fired a first round 74 and holds a one-stroke lead in the battle for medalist honors. Freshman Jackie Nimer ranks second for UC, tied for 24th after an opening round 84.
In the team standings, the Bearcats rank sixth with a day one score of 335, but sit just one stroke back of fifth place Eastern Michigan.
The tournament wraps up with the final 18 holes beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday.
