Alysa Few is tied for 22nd after day one of the Conference USA Tournament.

FORT WORTH, Texas---Junior Alysa Few is tied for 22nd, leading the University of Cincinnati women?s golf team at the 2004 Conference USA Championship. The event is being played at Shady Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas and being hosted by TCU.

Few (London, Ontario/Oakridge Secondary) carded an opening round 85 to lead the Bearcats to ninth in the team standings. Junior Allison Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville), who has won the last two tournaments in which she has participated, struggled on day one of the tournament, finishing with a score of 92, representing her second-highest round of the year.

UC is ninth of nine teams in the battle for the team title, with a score of 367. Tulane and USF are tied for first with a score of 318.
