CINCINNATI, Ohio ? Saturday's University of Cincinnati home football game vs. UAB will be Family Night at Nippert Stadium, and UC is offering a special 2-for-1 ticket discount to help facilitate family attendance.
Coupons are available at all area Skyline Chili locations, which when redeemed will allow the purchase of two adult reserved tickets to Saturday?s 7 p.m. game for the price of one ticket ($22).
The coupons can be redeemed this week at the UC Athletic Ticket Office at One Edwards Center, or at the game on Saturday. There is a limit of four tickets per coupon.
UC has extended the hours of operation of the Ticket Office by an hour. The Ticket Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-through-Friday this week and during the week before any UC home football game.
Pregame Activities
The usual array of activities will provide plenty of entertainment to fans attending Saturday's Cincinnati-UAB football game at Nippert Stadium.
Cattitude on the Commons, which takes place on the Sigma Sigma Commons, nnorth of Nippert Stadium and adjacent to most of the parking garages, offers an alternative to tailgating. Features include reasonably-priced food and beverages, the performance of a live band and visits by the Bearcat, the UC Band, and Cheerleaders.
A new feature this year is The Bearcat Kids Zone, which takes place in the new UC Baseball Stadium. Tailored to the young Bearcat fans, the Bearcat Kids Zone features inflatable games, music, face painting and carnival-style concessions.
All activities begin two and a half hours before each Bearcat home game.
UC has expanded tailgating opportunities . UC's two on-campus tailgating lots are sold out for the season, but over 400 spots remain on both a season or individual game basis at neighboring locations: Schiel School (Vine and Daniels streets), Bogart's (Glendora and Corry), Martino's (directly behind Martino's on Short Vine) and LaRosa's (adjacent to LaRosa's Pizza on Short Vine). Lots open four hours prior to kickoff.
