Bair, Limo Pace Bearcats At Pre-Nationals
Men finish 26th, women place 37th

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The University of Cincinnati men's and women's cross country teams finished 26th and 37th, respectively, among many of the top squads in the nation today (Oct. 16) at the Pre-National Meet in Terre Haute, Ind.
The men were led by senior Eric Bair, who crossed the finish line in 25:13.0, good for 86th place. Also scoring for the Bearcats, sophomore Kevin Schwarz finished in 102nd place in 25:19.4. UC accumulated 632 points, just one point behind 25th-place Cornell.
The UC women were again led by senior Ruth Limo. Limo placed 51st, completing the 6K course in 21:43.0. Karen Berling was the next Bearcat finisher, placing 163rd in 22:46.5.
Defending National Champion Stanford won both the men's and women's races at LaVern Gibson Championship Course on the campus of Indiana State University.
The Bearcats will have next weekend off before heading to Chicago, Ill. for the Conference USA Championships on Oct. 30.
