CINCINNATI, Ohio---The University of Cincinnati baseball team, under the tutelage of ninth-year head coach Brian Cleary are in the midst of its fall practice, being held daily in the UC Baseball Stadium. The four-week session will culminate with the return of the Red/Black World Series, beginning on Nov. 14.
?We?ve spent the last four weeks doing individual instruction and working on getting the players back into playing shape,? said Cleary. ?We are hoping to use the fall practice to scrimmage and evaluate how our players perform in game situations. This time should get our guys ready for competition in the spring.?
After taking last season off due to construction, the intrasquad Red/Black World Series will return in the newly built UC Baseball Stadium. The series will consist of five games, spanning the week of Nov. 14-21. Admission to each of the five games will be free to all fans.
Red/Black World Series Schedule
Game 1: Sunday, Nov. 14; 12 p.m.
Game 2: Monday, Nov. 15; 5 p.m.
Game 3: Wednesday, Nov. 17; 3:30 p.m.
Game 4: Friday, Nov. 19; Time TBA
Game 5: Sunday, Nov. 21; 12 p.m.
