Louisville men, women top Bearcats

LOUISVILLE, Ky. ? The University of Cincinnati men?s and women?s swimming teams were swept by Louisville at Crawford Pool in Louisville. The UC men were defeated, 118-84, while the women fell, 132.50-84.50.
Ann Degenstein won two events, the 200 freestyle and the 200 butterfly. Elyse Perez won the 200 backstroke in 2:10.50. On the men's side, Ryan Yearwood took home two individual titles, winning the 50 & 100 freestyles. David Gustaffson sported a 2:09.79 in winning the 200 breaststroke.
Louisville won 14 of the 24 events in the meet.
The Bearcats will visit Western Kentucky on Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.
