Senior Tracy Hale made 11 saves in her final collegiate match

TAMPA, Fla. ? The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team lost its fifth straight match, 1-0, at USF on Oct. 31. The Bearcats ended their season at 4-14-0, with a 1-9-0 mark in conference play. USF improves its record to 5-9-2, 4-6-0 in the conference.

The Bulls got on the board in the first half as Jenny Mulvihill scored on a header following a corner kick by Christine Koester at the 15:13 mark. It was Mulvihill's second goal of the season.

UC was unable to climb back into the match as they were outshot, 23-10, on the day. The Bulls took six corner kicks to the Bearcats' one.

Cincinnati goalkeeper Tracy Hale (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville South) made a season-high 11 saves in the losing effort.

"Tracy played really well today in her last game," said UC head coach Meridy Glenn. "She made an awesome save diving to her left."

The Bearcats worst season in the 24-year history of the program comes to a close with the 11th shutout of the year. UC's youth and several injuries to key players contributed to the poor season. However, the experience gained by the young players who were forced into duty this season will prove invaluable in the coming years.
