DuPont, Lauder Named To C-USA All-Decade Team

CINCINNATI, Ohio---Current senior Julie DuPont and former Bearcat great Laura Lauder were each named to Conference USA's All-Decade Volleyball Team, announced by the league office in conjunction with its 10th anniversary. DuPont and Lauder were among 10 C-USA standouts honored on a team that was voted on by the conference's coaches.
DuPont (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) is one of only two All-Americans in C-USA history and was named the conference's player of the year in 2003. Twice during her career, DuPont has been named to the all-conference team, including last season's first team honor. She currently ranks third in conference history and first in school history in career kills. DuPont has helped her teams to two conference championships and three NCAA Tournament berths in the first three years of her career. Including this year, DuPont has led the Bearcats to a record of 93-32 during her storied career. She has also been outstanding academically, as she has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first team three times, while also being named a two-time Academic All-American.
Lauder (Louisville, Ky./Presentation Academy), an honorable mention All-American as a senior, was a three-time all-conference choice, including a first team pick and was the C-USA Setter of the Year in 2003. Lauder finished her career ranked second in conference history and first in school annals in career assists. She helped her team to two conference championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances during her career. In 2000, Lauder was tabbed as the C-USA Co-Freshman of the Year.
