CINCINNATI, Ohio--The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team has cracked the Associated Press Top 25 rankings for the first time this season. UC, off to a 6-0 start, is No. 25 this week in the poll of media representatives from across the country.
In the ESPN/USA Today coaches Top 25 poll, the Bearcats continue to climb in the rankings, jumping three spots this week to No. 17 following convincing double digit wins over Vanderbilt and Detroit last week.
The Bearcats return to action this weekend with a game against Northwestern State (La.) as part of the Las Vegas Holiday Classic. Game time at Fifth Third Arena is at 7:00 p.m. EST. UC's clash with NSU starts a stretch of three home games in five days. The Bearcats then host Jackson State on Monday, Dec. 20 at 8:00 p.m, before welcoming LaSalle to Fifth Third Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 22 for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff.
Good tickets are still available for those games and fans can order them online at www.ucbearcats.com or by calling the UC Athletic Ticket Office at 513-556-CATS. The ticket office is open daily from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. and is located in One Edwards Center on the UC campus.
