CINCINNATI, Ohio ? The University of Cincinnati?s women?s basketball game on Friday, Feb. 18 is Cincinnati Recreation Commission Family and Friends Night. The CRC will be holding multiple giveaways and promotions before and during the game against Tulane, which tips off at 7 p.m. at Fifth Third Arena.
Pregame activities will include face-painting and temporary CRC tattoos, while during the contest CRC t-shirts, UC sports calendars, men?s and women?s basketball posters, Bob Huggins bobble-head dolls, C-it Happen pins, C-Paw Beenie Babies and Conference USA t-shirts will be given away. Also, the first 100 kids into the arena will receieve Aeropostale gift cards.
In addition, all UC students with a valid ID will receive a free t-shirt upon admission courtesy of the UC Offices of General Counsel & Licensing, Governmental Relations, Information Technology, and Student Affairs & Services; PAC, SALD, Bearcat Fridays, Rallycats, UC Cheerleading and the UC Dance Team.
UC will also be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Friday night. In conjunction with NG&WSD, the local organization girls!CAN will have a presentation on the Fifth Third Arena concourse and UC professor Dr. Laura Kretschmer will be presented the National Girls and Women in Sports Award.
