Men's Soccer Announces Camp Schedule

CINCINNATI, Ohio ? University of Cincinnati head men?s soccer coach Hylton Dayes and his staff announced today that they will offer camps for both high school and youth players during the summer of 2005.
The camps, which will be held in UC?s Gettler Stadium, get underway with a half day developmental program for K-4th graders from July 11-15. The half day camp is open to both boys and girls and will be Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $95. This camp?s main emphasis will be learning through fun while teaching all players the fundamental skills of the game. UC will continue the offerings with a full day developmental program open to grades 4-10 from July 25-29 for $175. The objective of this camp is to develop each camper into a more serious soccer player. The full day is open to both boys and girls and will be 9 a.m. ? 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The final two sessions are each overnight camps beginning on July 17-21 for $425 ($350 for commuters) and is offered to high school athletes interested in playing college soccer. Players will get a preview of what is required to play at the next level and will develop technical and tactical aspects of the game through videos, discussions, college and professional player demonstrations, coaching sessions, small sided games and full field competition. A written evaluation will be provided to each camper at the end of the week.
