WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- University of Cincinnati junior Ann Degenstein (The Woodlands, Texas/The Woodlands) finished 11th in the 100 butterfly at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships tonight at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center.
Degenstein posted a 53.58, just .04 off of Caroline Cooper's school record. The time bests her season-low of 54.34, set at the Miami Invite earlier this season.
Degenstein will swim in the 200 butterfly tomorrow, with prelims beginning at 11 a.m.
