Ann Degenstein finished 11th in the 100 butterfly and 14th in the 200 butterfly at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- University of Cincinnati junior Ann Degenstein (The Woodlands, Texas/The Woodlands) finished 11th and 14th in the 100 and 200 butterfly, respectively, at the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships over the last two days at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center.

Degenstein posted a 53.58 in the 100 on Friday, just .04 off of Caroline Cooper's school record. The time bests her season-low of 54.34, set at the Miami Invite earlier this season.

She then swam a 1:59.00 in the 200 butterfly tonight, finishing 14th.

Georgia's Mary Descenza captured both 100 and 200 butterfly crowns for the NCAA-Champion Bulldogs.

The Bearcats, represented only by Degenstein, finished 33rd in the team standings.
