CITRUS SPRINGS, Fla. -- The University of Cincinnati women's golf team finished in a seventh-place tie with Ohio University at the Lady Herd/El Diablo Intercollegiate today at the El Diabo Country Club.
UC finished 50 strokes behind champion Coastal Carolina in the 17-team field, posting a three-round total of 958.
Freshman Hillery Wilson led UC with a score of 236 after shooting final rounds of 80 and 77 to tie for 15th. Senior Allison Couch was next at 240, finishing 24th.
Coastal Carolina's Katy Heher shot a 222 to win the individual championship.
Host Marshall finished second with a score of 946, while defending champion Western Carolina (949) took third.
The Bearcats are next in action on April 4 as they host day one of the UC/UD Men's and Women's Golf Invitational at Clovernook Country Club.
