OAK RIDGE, Tenn.---Cincinnati got a win from its second varsity four crew and three second place finishes during the opening race of the spring season on Saturday. UC wrapped up its spring break training trip with a three-way race against Clemson and Dartmouth.
UC?s second four won its race by three seconds, winning with a time of 8:16.0 over second place Clemson. The Bearcats got second place finishes from its second varsity eight, second novice eight and varsity four boats during the day?s competition.
The Bearcats return to action next weekend when they host the first of two spring races to be held at Harsha Lake in East Fork State Park. UC will welcome Indiana, Dayton, Eastern Michigan and Louisville for the event.
