SETTING THE SCENE: The University of Cincinnati rowing team continues its spring season on April 2 when they take on Indiana, Dayton, and Eastern Michigan. The event will be held on the Bearcats home course in Wilder, Ky.

PREVIEWING THE REGATTA: Eastern Michigan won the 2005 Lubber Cup last weekend, where they took on Grand Valley State and the Michigan State Club. Indiana just concluded the Solid Orange Clemson Challenge where its varsity eight boat continued their undefeated streak against George Washington, North Carolina, and Georgetown. April 2 opens up Dayton?s spring rowing season, as they just concluded their spring training.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG: Cincinnati got a win from its second varsity four crew and three second place finishes during the opening race of the spring season last Saturday. UC wrapped up its spring break training trip with a three-way race against Clemson and Dartmouth. UC?s second four won its race by three seconds, winning with a time of 8:16.0 over second place Clemson. The Bearcats got second place finishes from their second varsity eight, second novice eight and varsity four boats during the day?s competition.
