MADISON, Ill.---Adam Fluty shot a final round 75 as the University of Cincinnati men?s golf team wrapped up the pre-Conference USA Tournament portion of its schedule at the Billiken Invitational on Tuesday.
Fluty finished the tournament tied for 14th overall with a three-round score of 216. Geoff Newman carded the Bearcats? lowest round of the day, a 72, to finish tied for 56th.
In the team standings, the Bearcats slipped to a tie for 13th in the final rundown with a total score of 883. Austin Peay set a tournament record with a three-round score of 837 to take team honors.
The Bearcats will now prepare for the C-USA Tournament which is set for April 18-20 in Gulfport, Miss.
