CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The University of Cincinnati's annual Red vs. Black showdown will be more than just another spring football game.
The UC coaching staff and players will conduct a youth football clinic, beginning at 10:30 a.m. in Nippert Stadium, which will feature on-the-field instruction and drills.
The football team will sign autographs when the clinic ends at 12:30 p.m.
Young fans will be invited to stand on the sidelines as the Bearcats conduct their warm-ups preceding the 2 p.m. intrasquad game, and will be allowed to stand on the field with the UC Band during the pregame music show.
There will be a drawing for a trip for four to a 2005 UC away game.
UC's 2005 national champion Dance Team, Cheerleaders, and the Bearcat will make appearances at the game. Concessions for purchase will be available.
A ticket sales and information tent will be located on the South Plaza where fans can enter a drawing for a trip for four to a 2005 UC away game.
To benefit the needy, fans attending the game are asked to bring canned food items which the football team will deliver to the FreeStore FoodBank.
The Red vs. Black game is free. Access to the stadium is available via west side entrances and through the north tunnel.
