UC Falls to UAB

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The UC women's tennis team fell, 6-1, to Conference USA foe UAB on Saturday afternoon at Brook Highland Racquet Club.
UAB, who improved to 12-5 overall and 3-2 in C-USA action this season, began the match by taking the doubles point. UC's Hannah Hinton and Samantha Liu won at No. 1, but the Blazers won at the No. 2 spot and at No. 3.
Cincinnati (4-12, 0-3) got its only point of the match at the No. 3 singles position, as Jill Klauck won 6-2, 6-1.
The Bearcats will next be in action on April 13 at Louisville at 1 p.m.
