NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.---Three Bearcats are in the top-10, helping the University of Cincinnati women's golf team to third place after the opening round of the Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic, hosted by the College of Charleston.

Sophomore Hillery Wilson is leading the way after firing a season-best round of 74 on Friday. Classmate Allison Mayborg and freshman Chelsa Dooley are just one shot back in a tie for ninth after each carded season-low rounds of 75.

In the team standings, Cincinnati sits just one shot back of the College of Charleston with a round of 305. That mark is 14 strokes below the Bearcats' previous season-best. Middle Tennessee State has the team lead through 18 holes with a score of 298.

Play continues all weekend from the Bay Tree Golf Plantion, with round two set for Saturday. The first group of golfers will tee off at 8 a.m.
