EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Senior Jill Klauck and freshman Jenny Rowen each reached the finals of the consolation bracket on Saturday during day two of the Spartan Cup hosted by Michigan State.

Klauck defeated Louisville's Bianca Gorbea, 6-4, 6-2, to reach the Flight A consolation finals. She will face Michigan State's Pascale Schnitzer on Sunday. Schnitzer reached the final by defeating UC freshman Andrea Phillips, 7-5, 6-4.

In Flight B, Rowen won twice on Saturday, topping Stephanie Hill of Detroit, 6-2, 6-2, and Vanessa Carna of IUPUI, 6-0, 6-3. Rowen will face IUPUI's Jessie Ritchie on Sunday.
