OXFORD, Ohio -- Junior Madison Reasoner, as well as freshmen Andrea Phillips and Elizabeth Young, led the University of Cincinnati tennis team at the Miami Invitational this weekend. Each won two of three singles matches and Phillips added a pair of doubles wins.

The Invitational was not a bracketed or flighted tournament. It was set up for each singles player and doubles team to get three matches. Along with UC and Miami, other teams participating were Austin Peay, Dayton, Indiana State, Morehead State, Wright State and Xavier.

Phillips picked up singles wins over N. Dzubay and A. Mellion from Dayton, and teamed with freshman Carling Arundel for doubles wins over Lohner and Potts from Xavier and Lobnitz and Sammons from Morehead State. Reasoner and Young earned wins over opponents from Wright State and Austin Peay.

Six of seven Bearcats earned at least one singles wins.
