FRANKLIN, Ind.---Hillery Wilson shot rounds of 76 and 75 to lead the University of Cincinnati women's golf team during day one of the Legends of Indiana Shootout. Wilson's total of 151 leaves her tied for 23rd with 18 holes remaining.
In the team standings, the Bearcats are 14th in the 19-team field after rounds of 311 and 307 on Monday. UC's total of 618 is just two strokes behind St. John's and just four shots out of a three-way tie for ninth. Kent State and Missouri are tied for team lead with totals of 594.
Allison Mayborg and Marianne Erb are both tied for 38th with identical scores of 154. Mayborg shot back-to-back rounds of 77, while Erb carded scores of 75 and 79. Erb's opening round score marked a career-best for the true freshman.
Play wraps up from the Legends of Indiana Golf Course with the final 18 holes on Tuesday. The event will kick off with an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start.
