FRANKLIN, Ind.---Sophomore Hillery Wilson shot a final round 74 to earn her third top-20 finish of the year as the University of Cincinnati women's golf team wrapped up play at the Legends of Indiana Shootout on Tuesday.
Wilson finished the tournament with a score of 225, her second lowest three-round total of the year to end the tournament tied for 20th overall. Her Tuesday score also matched her third lowest round of the fall.
In the team standings, the Bearcats finished 15th in the 19-team field with a final score of 931. UC shot a combined 313 on Tuesday and ended up just four strokes back of 14th place Northern Illinois.
Sophomore Allison Mayborg shot her third consecutive round of 77 to tie for 43rd, ending the tournament as UC's second highest finisher.
The Bearcats will continue their fall season on Oct. 24-25, hosting the Cincinnati Fall Classic. The two-day tournament will be played at Elks Run Golf Course in Batavia.
