SCARSDALE, N.Y.---Three Bearcats shot rounds of 76 helping the University of Cincinnati men's golf team to fourth place after 18 holes of play at The Tillinghast. UC's day one total of 309 leaves them four strokes out of fourth and 12 behind first place St. John's.
The individual standings show senior John Clodfelder, junior Geoff Newman and sophomore Kyle Pinger all tied for 10th with identical first round scores of 76. Scores for the balance of the Bearcats' line-up were not immediately available.
The final 18 holes of The 2005 Tillinghast will get underway on Tuesday morning from the Fenway Golf Club in Scarsdale.
