KETTERING, Ohio---Hillery Wilson won her second straight tournament with a school record round and the University of Cincinnati women's golf team captured its first team title since 1999 as the Bearcats competed in the Dayton Fall Invitational on Monday at the NCR Country Club.

Wilson, who last week captured the UC Fall Classic, won the tournament by two strokes with a career-best round of 69. The score was the lowest ever recorded by a Bearcat female golfer, breaking Shelley Jonda's six-year old mark by two strokes.

The team standings showed Cincinnati on top by one stroke over Toledo with a season-best round of 295. The tournament title was the first for the Bearcats since winning the Illini Spring Classic in the spring of 1999. UC also fielded a "B" squad in the event, which finished fifth.

Freshman Chelsa Dooley led three other UC players in the top-10 as she tied for fifth with a 74. Mya Pronschinske matched her career-low for the second straight event with a 75, good for eighth place. Sarah Bires also had a career day, tying for ninth with a 76.

The Dayton Fall Invitational wraps up the fall season for the Bearcats. UC will be back on the links in March at the Fighting Camel Classic hosted by Campbell.
