CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.---The University of Cincinnati rowing team wrapped up its fall season on Sunday, competing in the Rivanna Romp, hosted by Virginia. At the end of competition, UC's novice eight had scored a top-10 finish to lead the Bearcats.
In the novice race, the Bearcats placed eighth, finishing the course in 17:35.04. Clemson took the win in the race with a mark of 15:24.56.
In the varsity eight race, Ohio State took the top spot, completing the course in a time of 13:51.88. The Bearcats' three crews finished in 20th, 21st and 22nd.
The Rivanna Romp wraps up the fall season for Cincinnati. The Bearcats will be back in competitive action, kicking off the spring season in March. UC's spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
