CINCINNATI, Ohio -- University of Cincinnati freshman forward DeAndre Coleman has left the Bearcat basketball team for personal reasons.
The 6-6 Coleman, a native of Stone Mountain, Ga., played in six of the Bearcats' first seven games, averaging 2.2 points and 1.5 rebounds, while logging seven minutes of action per game.
Coleman, who was an honorable mention Class 5A All-Georgia selection last year as a senior at Stephenson High School, averaged 14.9 points and 8.1 rebounds while leading this team to the regional championship and a fourth place finish in the state tournament. He was later selected to play in the Atlanta All-Star Classic.
