Erick Murray Dismissed From UC Basketball Team

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- University of Cincinnati junior forward Erick Murray has been dismissed from the Bearcat basketball team for violation of team rules.

The 6-5, 230-pound Murray, a walk-on, joined the Bearcats last season and played in 22 games. This season, the Dallas, Texas native appeared in six games, scoring a total of five points and grabbed five rebounds, while playing almost four minutes per game.

Murray came to UC from Westerville (Ohio) North High School, where he lettered in both basketball and soccer.
