SETTING THE SCENE: The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team will aim for its first BIG EAST victory when it travels to face Providence on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. in Alumni Hall. The Bearcats are 10-2 overall and 0-1 in their new league after falling to No. 8 Rutgers, 64-51, last Tuesday. The Friars also lost to Rutgers in their only league contest so far and are 5-7 on the year and on a four-game winning streak.
