CINCINNATI, Ohio -- University of Cincinnati has returned to the Top 25 of the Associated Press weekly men's college basketball poll.
The Bearcats, who last week defeated DePaul and Marquette to up their record to 13-2, moved up to No. 25 in this week's AP poll. UC narrowly missed the Top 25 of the ESPN/USA Today rankings, finishing 26th in the voting.
UC is one of six BIG EAST teams in the AP Top 25. Villanova is No. 3, Connecticut No. 4, Louisville No. 10, Pittsburgh No. 12 and West Virginia No. 16. The BIG EAST has six teams in the ESPN rankings: Villanova (3), Connecticut (4), Louisville (10), Pittsburgh (11), West Virginia (23) and Syracuse (24).
Cincinnati takes a 10-game wining streak into Monday evening's game vs. No. 4 Connecticut.
