CINCINNATI, Ohio--University of Cincinnati redshirt freshman Jessie Nevitt will be featured in this week's Inside the BIG EAST syndicated television show as she is honored as the program's scholar-athlete of the week.
Nevitt, a 3.0 student majoring in finance, was chosen for her combination of academic and athletic success, in particular stemming from her participation in last weekend's USA Volleyball Open Tryouts.
The show is scheduled to be picked up by a number of different outlets in BIG EAST-member markets. Locally, the 30-minute show will broadcast on WXIX-Fox 19 at 5 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22. It will also be shown on ESPNU, available on select cable systems in Cincinnati, on two separate occasions.
