Undermanned Bearcats Fall to Indiana State

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati tennis team, still playing with just four singles players due to illness and injury, fell to Indiana State, 5-0, at the Queen City Racquet Club on Saturday.

Joane Schickerling posted a 6-3, 6-1 score over Elizabeth Young in No. 1 singles action, while Jennifer Migan topped Lindsay Willeford 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 2 singles spot. Jenny Rowen was beated by Marie Caujolle's by scores of 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 and Madison Reasoner lost to Fadzai Masiyazi 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4.

The Sycamores dropped only three games between the two doubles matches. Migan/Schickerling picked up the 8-1 decision over Rowen/Hannah Hinton and Masiyazi/Caujolle's 8-2 win over Young/Reasoner locked the doubles point for ISU.
