Aird Featured Speaker At European Clinic

KAUNAS, Lithunania--University of Cincinnati assistant volleyball coach Steve Aird was the featured speaker at a seminar and clinic at the Kaunas University of Physical Education in Kaunas, Lithunania recently. Aird, who travelled to Europe in cooperation with Bring It Promotions, spoke on the benefits of the NCAA to student-athletes from overseas.

Following the seminar, Aird, along with the other USA contingent of coaches, provided a 90-minute clinic to players from the Kaunas area. In addition to the players, the clinic drew over 40 coaches from the Lithuanian Federation and Sport School programs. Aird was also afforded the opportunity to speak about the UC program.

Aird joined the Bearcat program during the summer of 2005, helping UC to a record of 20-12 last year, the program's 11th straight 20-win season.
