-- Three University of Cincinnati women's soccer players were named to the 2005 All-Ohio team by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association. Junior Becky Imhoff (, /McNicholas) and freshmen Jenn Johannigman (, /Seton) and Kim Sykes (/Sycamore) were selected to the honorable mention All-Ohio squad.

Imhoff, a co-captain, led the Bearcats and ranked ninth in the BIG EAST with six assists. She started 17 of 18 matches in the midfield and was second on the squad with 34 shots.

Johannigman started 17 of 18 matches for the Bearcats at forward and led UC with six goals and 12 points. She was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for her performance during the Oct. 14-16 weekend. Johannigman scored twice in a 4-3 loss against No. 14 Marquette.

Sykes played 1,707 of a possible 1,713 minutes while starting each of UC's 18 contests along the back line. The rookie was one of UC's most consistent defenders and scored her lone goal of the season, a game-winner, in the Bearcats' 1-0 win against on Aug. 28.

The All-Ohio teams are selected from 16 Division I and Division II institutions in the state of .
