Like a lot of college students, the University of Cincinnati men's soccer team has traveled to Florida for spring break. Unlike most college students, the Bearcats are preparing for the upcoming fall season with two-a-day training sessions and matches against the U.S. U-17 National Team, Central Florida, and Rollins College. Over the next six days, the UC players will share their experiences through the UC Soccer Spring Break Diaries. Today's entry was submitted by John-Michael Boggs.

Starting off the day, once again, we had bagels, cereal, and fruit, then we had training. Training was the usual day before a game - a long warm up, a tactical game, and then a finishing game. After training we were left with some free time to ourselves. After training we went to CiCi's all you can eat pizza. Pineapple has to be the best pizza on the menu. On a full stomach we went back to the hotel where we were planning on a boat tour of the everglades and the alligators which fell through so an afternoon of naps and laying by the pool came of it. After the long naps, dinner was delivered by Applebee's. Chicken wraps were the meal of the night. The NCAA tournament was on so we hung out with our Captains and watched the exciting games. While watching, we began to pack our bags and thoughts of began to come back, as did the cold weather. Tomorrow is game day, but it is also the last day to get sun. UConn just tied the game and sent it to overtime, I've got to go.
