CINCINNATI, Ohio---A heavy thunderstorm has caused the opening game between Cincinnati and South Florida to be suspended in the sixth inning. After a delay of nearly two hours, the game will be resumed at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Saturday's regularly scheduled game will start 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one.

The opener was suspended in the middle of the sixth inning with UC holding a 6-4 lead. The Bearcats jumped to a 5-0 lead after two innings and held a two-run cushion when the rains hit. Jon DeLuca has been the hero thus far with a pair of doubles and three RBI.

Steve Blevins will start game two on Saturday, taking on USF's Daniel Thomas.
