URBANA, Ill.---After an opening round score of 314, the University of Cincinnati women's golf team is tied for fourth place at the Illini Spring Classic, which got underway at the Stone Creek Golf Club on Friday. UC, in a three-way tie for the position, trails first place Oregon by just seven shots.

As has been the case for nearly all of her career, sophomore Hillery Wilson is pacing the Bearcats as she is tied for seventh with an opening round score of 76. Sophomore Allison Mayborg and freshman Chelsa Dooley find themselves tied for 19th after each carded a 79 on Friday.

Play concludes with the final 18 rounds on Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. CT.
