CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Red-Black Spring Football Game, UC Baseball versus Georgetown and the Southern Ohio Cup track meet headline a full day of events on April 22 for the first annual Bearcat Super Saturday.
The events get underway at 10:30 a.m. when the UC Football coaches and players will hold a free mini-camp in Nippert Stadium until Noon. That will be immediately followed by an autograph session with the players until 12:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the field events for the annual Southern Ohio Cup Track Meet featuring UC, Ohio and Miami (Ohio) start at 11 a.m. at Gettler Stadium. The running events will begin at approximately Noon. Admission is free.
The Red-Black Spring Football game is the centerpiece of the day and will start at 1 p.m. in Nippert Stadium. Admission is free and everyone in attendance will receive a voucher for $1 admission to the UC Baseball game later in the day. Other prizes and giveaways will also be awarded during the Spring Game, including season tickets to the 2006 football season. The game culminates UC's annual Football Lettermen's Weekend
At 4 p.m., the UC Baseball Team hosts BIG EAST-rival Georgetown at the UC Baseball Stadium. In addition to the discounted vouchers available at the football game, sodas and hot dogs will cost just $1.
