CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The University of Cincinnati men's and women's soccer teams will hold a free clinic open to all members of the Soccer Association for Youth on Saturday, April 29, as part of UC's Alumni Weekend festivities. The clinic, led by UC coaches and student-athletes, will begin at 10 a.m. at Gettler Stadium.

"Our players and coaches look forward to the Clifton S.A.Y. Clinic," head men's coach Hylton Dayes said. "It's a great way for us to connect with the community and it helps the kids improve their soccer skills. It should be a fun afternoon for everyone."

All youth soccer players age five and up are welcome to attend and are encouraged to bring their own ball. Prizes and autographs will be available to participants.

"We have built a very strong relationship with Clifton S.AY. over the years," stated head women's coach Meridy Glenn. "We are always excited to continue to develop that relationship with someone in the community so close in proximity to the university."

Following the clinic, the men and women will play the annual alumni matches. Bearcats of old will reunite and take the field against the current members of the team. Kickoff for the men's match is set for 2 p.m. while the women will get underway at approximately 4 p.m.

Cash parking will be available for $5 at Calhoun Garage on next to Gettler Stadium. The stadium concession stand will be open and fans are encouraged to come cheer on their favorite current and former Bearcats.
