OAK RIDGE, Tenn.---Cincinnati advanced to the B-final in one class and to the C-finale in two others, highlighting the Bearcats' participation in day one of the 2006 Aramark South/Central Springs.
The Bearcats' open four crew finished third in its heat (8:02.1) and sixth in the semi-final (8:35.62) to advance to the B-final on Sunday morning. UC will also have its' first varsity four and second varsity eight in the C-final on Sunday. The latter crew posted the Bearcats' best finish of the day, finishing second in the semi-final in a time of 7:37.43 to advance to the C-final.
Action resumes for UC, with the D-final of the first varsity eight, beginning at 9:10 a.m.
